We've partnered with the iconic Abbey Road Studios to bring you a series of lectures in Studio Two for a limited capacity audience.
The lectures - Sleeve Notes: "From Mono to Infinity" - will be presented by acclaimed music producer and recording engineer - Alan Parsons.
Alan Parsons' career at Abbey Road began when he was a trainee engineer on The Beatles’ final two albums, ‘Let It Be’ and ‘Abbey Road,’ and he went on to handle mixing duties on both Pink Floyd’s, ‘Atom Heart Mother’ and ‘Dark Side Of The Moon.’ As an artist and producer in his own right in the Alan Parsons Project he went on to record a series of memorable works throughout the 70s and 80s at Abbey Road including ‘Tales Of Mystery And Imagination’, ‘I Robot’, and ‘Eye In The Sky’.
Alan will talk about his time at the studios using audio, footage, photos and vintage studio equipment. There will also be a Q&A co-hosted by David Hepworth of The Guardian, NME, Q, Mojo and The Old Grey Whistle Test.
