SV-P100

Digital Audio Cassette Recorder

A PCM Cassette Recorder Integrating Advanced Electronic Circuitry Technology and Video Tape Mechanism.

DETAILS

The SV-P100 utilised a PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) recording system. The PCM recording system offered flat frequency characteristics, wide dynamic range and low harmonic distortion, thus allowing high-quality recording and playback. It featured two large-scale LSIs newly developed for processing digital signals and a dedicated LSI developed for handling the A/D and D/A conversion and peripheral logic circuit functions. The recording levels of the left and right channels were independently adjustable. The integrated left and right faders enabled easy fade-in and fade-out control. The SV-P100 also had digital in/out terminals for digital dubbing as well as a remote control terminal and left and right mic terminals.
